    I only started giving them oysters shells a few weeks ago. Other then that I don't feed them grit anymore . I guess maybe I should be? I have never used any worm products or anything like that .

    One of my hens has the bumpy calcium deposits on her eggs. While I've read this is normal from time to time, she has it on every egg. And so much now that there are calcium deposits inside the egg which makes it really gritty and not tasty to eat. I started them on oyster shells about 2 weeks...

    Ok thanks. I guess I'm torn between keeping her all alone out there or taking a chance since I have no place to quarantine a pal or 2 for her.

    Since I only have one chicken left and the risk is low, do you think it would be ok not to quarantine but to choose a couple of healthy looking hens to join her? I really don't have A space to quarantine the others and my house is most definitely not an option I have a baby and a toddler.

(At least I'm guess that since there is no sign of struggle or intruders otherwise) if I put bird netting up over top with some red ties on it so they won't fly in, is that a decent solution ?
