    Has anyone ended up with this mix? We hatched a bunch of our eggs from one of our chicken tractors back in February and I must say this guy, despite being a mutt is gorgeous (I know they need moved the weather hasn't been decent until recently to do so)

    We do both. We're running Cornish cross in a chicken tractor in one of our fields currently. We run all our birds in tractor style coops though for the free range aspect bit with the safety of the voop from predators.

    32 out of the current 36 laying age hens. 14 from the ducks though so there is that. 160 aren't at laying age yet sadly (in due time)

    I think you're right on track with this. It's the most likely given color and feather pattern. Flipping huge bird too, initially I suspected she was a roo, I was wrong there. But I'm curious what she'll look like at 6 months.

    T Thanks. And yea fairly certain is was probably a mix up breed wise, I've never seen anything like it before. But then again we try to focus on heritage breeds, but have also crossed our BCMs with some of our other laying breeds since he was the only roo we had at the time.
