Im eating healthier and lost a few piddly pounds on my own but at least Im trying. I'd say by next month Ill try the HCG when my appetite is better and smaller!!
We're starting the biggest loser competition for my wife's work. My goal is to lose about 25lbs. We started on Monday...
I haven't yet been able to put my netting up in the run but will this weekend.
Happy News!! All chickens have slept in the coop the past two nights! Yeah, I think they're actually starting to understand.
I guess that one moment of happiness about my chickens getting into their coop all by themselves without me having to break my back as I bend over for them in the run couldn't last forever...They slept in the run. and didn't make it to their coop last night, but I'm not too worried about it...
I did three different rounds of HCG, lost a total of 60 lbs. Yeah the diet is rough but once you get on it, after the first few days for me, everything went well. I feel tons better and am working to keep it off. I want to lose a little more to get to my goal weight but we'll see how it goes.
Yeah I was pretty excited about it. You should have seen the smile on my face. I didn't make any changes to the ramp or the tarp. I'm expecting my netting this week so as soon as that comes I'll replace the tarp with the netting.
The only thing different was the fact that I hadn't turned on...

Thanks...I'm hoping they will get the hang of things especially after I replace the tarp with some netting that will extend clear to the top making it tall enough for me to get in there.

I kind of thought that too. There's really only about a foot for them to pass by which isn't enough. I have seen them too get startled when the wind blows the tarp around. I can't wait for my netting to come next week then maybe that would solve my problem...

Yeah I'm not sure what to do. I wanted the coop up high enough so it would be an easy clean. Just put the wheel barrow in front, open the coop, and scoop all the crud(fertilizer).
Do you think if I shortened the ramp they would be able to make it up? Or would it be too steep? Right...
So here is our coop and run combination. I know it looks ghetto but with limited funds and time, that's what we came up with. Im reposting here because I want you to see the ramp. My chickens don't end up in the coop at night. I have to coax them into it.
Do you think his ramp is okay? Too...
The netting should keep birds out, but I've never seen any kind of hawk or any other 'larger' birds in our areas.
I guess we'll give it a try to see if it works.
