    The hen that i knew had a sour crop died but the other hen with fluid in her crop was fine. so they can get fluid in there crop just from drinking water and they will be fine

    chicks got into the layer food

    I got home from school today and the chicks had gotten out of their pen and in with the big girls. There was no fighting but they did get some of the layer food. Will it hurt them? I'm not sure how much they had.

    I have released a coon in this before, very hard but can be done. I was wearing welding gloves and did get bite once but it just got the glove. I probably wouldn't do it again though.

    LOL nope didn't yawn in front of them. Was your turkey alright? My chicks also shake thier heads a lot and and sometimes a little click sound that i think comes from thier throat. Not sure what this means?

    Thank you. I will go to the feed store and look for amprolluim tomorrow. The people at my feed store are not very helpful, but I will try and find it. I am feeding medicated chick starter now.

    Only 1 poop had a lot of blood in it. The rest had VERY little, I probably wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't looking. But, I will look for Corid I'm going to the feed store right now. Thanks

    I found somme more blood in there poop, not much but some. I have now found blood in 4 pices of poop . Would this be the intestinal lining? Does it come out all at once or would it be in 4 separte pices of poop? Also if it is coccidiosis would penicilin help? Thanks
