I have 5 BR xEE eggs at day 20 in my incuview and just got the first pip. My rooster just hasn't been getting it done out of 15 eggs set only 5 were fertile
Ended up 8/14 for my first attempt at ducks. Pekin/Rouen mixed from my backyard flock. All went into lockdown fine so not too sure why the 6 didn't hatch.[/IMG]
Just had my first duckling hatch this morning, had to assist it had been at it over 48 hours. Thinking maybe I kept the humidity too low throughout the process because the membrane was tough. 4-more are pipped.
I had a duck egg externally pip on day 25 and it's been more than 24 hours now with no additional progress, just wondering if I should be concerned or if maybe duck eggs just take a while especially being a little early to pip?
Good luck, I have 14 duck eggs that are at 10-days all developing well and I added 6 chicken eggs on day 7 so they should all hatch on the same day(ish)
I have 1-Pekin drake, 2-females as well as a female Rouen & Blue Swedish. My two pekins have been laying again for a few weeks and I've been checking for the fertile bullseyebut haven't had any luck yet. It's been mostly in the 20's here weather wise so I'm guessing maybe they're just not into...
So 11 for 11 hatched but the last one to hatch made it out over night and died, I found it this morning hatched but lifeless, not sure what went wrong other than maybe he was in the egg too long seeing as he hatched a full day later than the rest. Still great easy results from the incuview.

Woke up to 9 of 11 hatched. I pulled them out and put them in the brooder. When I candles the other too they both look internally pipped and I could see the beak moving around in the air cell. So far I'm thrilled with the incuview, for a first timer it's been super easy to use and seems to be...
1-out and another 90%, 6 others pipped. 3 left so far with no action. The one hatched one is bombing around and rolling some of the other eggs, he was pip to zip in no time the one at 90% started 24 hours ago
