    I have read that chicks do better with others that hatch. I timed the hatch for the 20th.. but I guess one of the eggs i pulled out of the coop started incubating a little bit earlier. So I got a lonely chick... not anymore. Introducing SOCKBABY!!! It quieted down more and now has a friend.
