Sounds delish.
i HOPE you made enough for everybody!?
Eating the last bite as I type this! You gotta help out on the butchering to get invited to dinner!
LOL! We're gonna be enjoying our first punished Roo in a few days here in Claremont... haven't decided... dumplings or roasted...
I was thinking Chicken and Dumplings... I need boiling directions for him. All I found so far is oven directions. I heard that an 11 month old cooks different than the store ones. Hubby decided to cut the breast meat off and the thigh and leg section. He freaked out about not having gloves...
I went out today and saw that My golden roo was having a death match with one of my New Hampshire red roos called Gimpy. Gimpy was always more aggressive. He'd go after people as they walked through the yard. I had to usher Gimpy out of the coop somy golden one could settle down. I don't know...
This post is about Duck eggs. I had it in the Duck forum to discuss with duck owners only. Sorry Chicken owners this got bumped to the wrong place somehow.
most days bring one egg maybe two from my females, but one cool rainy morning back in September there was a pile of about six eggs. what would have caused such a different outcome?
My guess is probably someone in my neighborhood. They never take proper methods to ensure their chickens saftey, so it wouldn't surprise me if it came from there. I'm not goingto even bother trying to go ask them concidering they shot my dog and came out the house with a gun towards my stepson...
thanks, we clip our ducks wings also. This little fellow still peeps and I'm not sure what it's age is. My hubby saw it in the yard while it was snowing a few days ago.
