I've run up on a pic of some White Rock chicks with pinkish legs, even though it too says they have yellow legs.

Thanks.
Any guesses on the white ones? So far I find either white chickens with yellow legs or grey legs? Can't find such a chicken with pink legs. Maybe they change to grey? Shouldn't be a barnyard mix since they came from Rural King.
Well I bought some White Leghorn chicks at the farm store to go along with my hatch that didn't go too great. As the story goes, didn't get what I was supposed to have got. Can anyone help ID them?
I got two of these chicks. I think they are Buff Orpingtons since that is what was on the bin but...
Thats neat. When finished, can you make a time lapse video showing the embryo growing into a chick for 21 days? May have to zoom out some when it gets bigger.
In order to get some of the percentages higher than what is in the ingredient (example protein and meat) you have to dehydrate it to make that nutrient stronger by a weight percentage which makes the feed dry, which is why some numbers don't seem to match each other by weight.
Then because the...
No they were gathered by me. I had a very low fertility rate from the start for some reason so my rooster is fired. I figured up something like a 20% fertility rate. 1 roo and 5 hens.
I tried to do a staggered hatch with another incubator that I used as a hatcher so I could keep the few fertile...
Looking at their product a dimmer from Lowes or Home Depot should work. However a dimmer from Lowes is going to cost more and will be harder to adjust to the same setting with a rotary or slider dimmer. Premiers dimmer has notches to adjust so it is easier to go back to the same setting.
I decided to crack them open and see. Both were dead. One had a dark yellow yolk ooze come out so I guess a bacterial infection at some point and the other one probably couldn't internally pip because it looked like the air cell drew way down on it while in lockdown. Not sure what caused the air...
Just to be clear, a chick can peep without internally pipping?
I've been hearing it since yesterday evening but candling shows no internal pip, yet. They are on day 22. The other few hatched yesterday.
Is it possible for a chick to peep without pipping internally?
I have 2 eggs that haven't hatched yet which I think are dead but no internal pips. I keep hearing a very faint peeping noise from somewhere. Maybe birds outside or I'm loosing my mind...
You just need a big enough gauge wire that is insulated thick enough for that high of a voltage. If you don't have enough insulation, it may short out and not get the full power of the charger.

gqf thermostat
It is just a normal wafer thermostat according to a google search which basically is a thermostatically controlled switch. It only has two wires, pretty simple to change out. There is no polarity so it doesn't matter if you wire it up backwards or not.
They are filled with a gas...
I've never seen my hygrometers go up and then settle to a lower percentage. I'd go with the 76% reading, so you are 1% too high. I use gallon and quart ziploc bags, puffed up, and they seem to come up with the same reading after 12 hours. I use 1 tablespoon sodium chloride and 1 teaspoon of...
Well my rooster aint doing his job or something because most my eggs are infertile. Kinda bummed me out. I'm having to do a staggered hatch so I'll hopefully have enough chicks to brood.
But looking at my first batch of eggs, density doesn't mean anything as far as fertility goes. High was...
