    What was the result of this? did you end up using a crow collar? it doesnt work on my silkie roo that was suppose to be a hen of course... just wondering if it would work on a orpington roo since thir neck width is bigger. I live in a city but love roosters... my neighbors do not lol.

    Hello Barbara, how does the crow collar work on ur orp roo? does he still crow really loud? I as well am in the city but really want an orpington roo for my ladies. please let me know how it works for him, it doesnt seem to work atall for my silkie roo, maybe cuz his neck is too small maybe??

    I got it from my neighbor. Came from an EE egg and her only roo is cream legbar. She doesn’t have a Wyandotte. But could be a comb mess up. I think she will have the same comb the EE mom had.

    Was the mother barred? No mother was a lavender color EE and dad was a cream legbar so he is barred.

    Okay thank you, I just see a lot of dots on the comb. Does the color coming through so early maybe mean anything? I’m my experience that’s usually been the sign of cockerel. when she was hatched, it had a white dot in the head. Idk if that means anything. also in the pic are my white full legbar...

    3 months and 1 week. I just posted that show she got her wattles and comb red early. But she’s also huge! So idk if that made her mature quicker? Or if it is a boy

    No those were picks from 11 weeks and the others are from today. She got a comb and wattles at a young age prob 5 weeks they were dark pink and pronounce. But everywhere I seen showed males to have really white feathers and a large comb at her age.

    Confused. Took in a friends chicks and I’m not sure if the chick is a boy since the pea comb has a reddish tint to it. Don’t be filled by the legbar girl look with eye liner and chipmunk stripe.
