Blue Double Laced Barnevelders - Does anyone have birds or pictures?

It will take til they are starting to really feather out. Id say 3-5 weeks you will have a good look. The Blues and blacks look so much alike as chicks it makes it hard lol. I lost my only splash roo.... wish I could get another.

    Silver Laced Barnevelder Chicks/Hatching Eggs?

Yes, If you have a waiting list for eggs... I want to be put on it! lol. I've got blacks and blues but no silvers. Gorgeous birds. I just love the breed. My birds are so relaxed and flock to me to eat out of my hand every day.

    Silver Laced Barnevelder Chicks/Hatching Eggs?

I have blues and blacks but have pretty much come to terms with never getting Silvers. I'm not going to go to Greenfire Farms and get them.... I'm currently just going to get SPR and try to evolve my own large fowl for now until I can score some good hatching eggs. Congrats Tanya!

    Barnies in Oklahoma

Here's some of my babies. They are Blue Double Laced Barnevelders and I love them very much. I'm just starting out with them but I hatched and raised most of these myself. Beautiful birds with quirky personalities.

Yeah I have like 4 roosters but this one is my nicest and I have 2 really nice hens. I have one that has awful lacing. I got her as a chick. I think she's either going in the stew pot or going in with my laying hens. I don't want to breed her. I want to get the best lacing possible. I love...

I wish I were closer. I have some large blues roosters ready now and some chicks as well. They are almost fully feathered though. I have a partner though that does ship birds and he has some splashes. Maybe I could give him a ring. Good luck finding them!

Well, it's time for me to evaluate some of my young roosters. Gotta figure out who stays and who goes. Thoughts on these guys? I'm thinking I may keep the one that's by himself in the last pic. The one has A LOT of red in him... I'm thinking he's a cull. Maybe a pet for someone.

Yes! Good luck with your hatch! I hatched out 3 out of 6 of my Blue Double Laced Barnevelders. I then found 8 more chicks only a week or so older than the ones I had hatched. Now I have 11 beautiful babies! I can't wait to see what their lacing looks like. I think out of the 11, I have 4 or...
