Wow. That's not been my experience with My Pet Chicken at all.
My sympathy for your recent loss. Is it possible, just maybe, that you are projecting your feelings of anger and greif on this company, who by your own account, has spent many hours trying to make things right, outside of their own...
It is very easy. Put two days worth of food in a bucket, cover with water and add more if the feed absorbs most of it. You want a half inch laying on top to avoid spoilage. It should attract wild yeasts and begin to go sour in a day or two. In order to hurry it along I added a couple...
I think sprouting works better than fodder for fowl. Right now I am fermenting their feed and I'm VERY pleased with the results. Fermenting makes the nutrients more available, the fact that it is wet cuts down on watering, they waste absolutely nothing, and they scarf it down amazingly...
...If you are unable to telephone today, could you fax?
Thank you,

Yes! All but one. I did have to bathe some of them (big pain in the tush) but all is well that ends well, huh? The previous batch of 3-4 week old quail are gobbling up the sloppy mess in a wonderful manner. They eat every crumb, wasting not a bit, and gobble it down so fast that I am sure...
Sooooo. Yesterday I began my foray into feeding my quail (we are moving so getting chickens again will have to wait until then. Probably) with soaked/fermented feed...and almost killed my new hatch.
It wasn't the feed, it was the process. I filled a gallon jar with feed and water, stirred in a...
Gilbert just passed, tonight, amendments to the current zoning which allow single family residences in zones SF6 & SF7 to keep chickens. They also changed the coop placement from the nearly impossible "100 feet from any property lines" to "within the building envelope or in the far half of the...
Oh THANK you guys for the support. An YES, I'd love it if EVERYONE called with their support. Many of the offices do not even ask or take that information down. They are really just doing a tally. Thank you SO much! Now go bug your friends and family to call tomorrow!
:)

Hi All! Did you miss me? I have some very hopeful news to share.
There is a new Bill in Arizona which would make it possible for anyone, in any Town or City within Arizona to raise chickens.
Every Town or City could limit the number of chickens, and decide whether roosters would be allowed -...
Has anyone used a system like that? I want the tubes to be flexible because my configuration is always changing. If you have experience in this area, please share! I am going on vacation (yea!) in a couple weeks and want my pet sitter to succeed in keeping my rabbits alive!
