WELCOME! You have come to the right place for all your questions. Even if it is not chicken related. Everyone has been so helpful to me when I was adjusting to Arizona. Don't be afraid to ask them!
I forgot about Roseanne! I saw they were starting the from the beginning and I set it up to tape. I never saw the last few seasons when it originally aired. I have 134 episodes waiting on me right now!
We just started season 11 today. We have the current season 14 taped on the DVR. We taped the spin off Station 19 too. Of course we can't start watching that until we catch up! Kinda hard to follow a crossover if you dont know what's going on.
Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry to hear about everything. The car, but mostly your husband. My ex restored cars and I know how much time, energy and money is involved restoring. I'm so glad he survived. I hope he recovers soon! Sending you warm wishes too. It's not easy for you either.

I agree. I use my shears more then my knife when processing too. I use my knife mostly for cutting connective tissue since I skin them instead of plucking.
Great advice and well said. You hit on most all the fears for first time butchering.
One of my concerns before my first butchering was cleaning/scrapings the inside of the carcass properly. All the entrails pull out relatively easy and are connected in my experience. I don't pull hard because...
I'm with BlueBaby! I've never had experience with them but heard scarry stories. When they had all those chicks on sale almost half were RR. Two bins full!
I hope you find homes or a nice stew pot for them.
Blue Wyandotte is what I was leaning towards too. They are from Privitt. I didn't want to look silly guessing and not being close to the right breed. I'm learning though. I never played attention to my silver lace Wyandottes when they were small. So I want sure. Thank you everyone for the help...
