Arizona Chickens

Okay I have to brag. Also hope I don't offend anyone. My husband is not home, and I opened the front door and there is a baby rattlesnake just hangin out :sick The dogs were nearby and this snake was way too close for comfort. So I grabbed the flathead shovel and guillotined his head off! Don't mess with this pregnant lady!! Keep your eyes on the ground friends, snake season is upon us.
Reminds me of that old song by the Marvellettes from the 60's..."Don't Mess With Bill (Sonoran Chick), No, No, No, No."

Oh, you're a tough one....Don't Mess With Sonoran Chick. Takes me back to the 60's days of the Marvellettes, "Don't Mess With Bill."

@SonoranChick good for you, I would hope no one would get offended at least on az thread
For me if they come too close its their bad, its their life or yours here it would take me an hour to seek medical jelp so yes eyes are on the ground and we clear the land where we walk alot.

I'm lucky to have a dog that barks at them and won't go close so I know if ones near

My hubby found one on April 10 and we see some driving...

Not to mention the cost of the anti-venom. It also depend's on where you were bit at, because if bit anywhere near the heart you might not have that hour!

No binge watching here. My husband was t-boned a couple weeks back so I'm not his full-time caretakers, plus running our little farms, plus running our business. I'm pretty much exhausted from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to bed. This is what one incompetent driver left of my husband's car:

He spent three years customizing and perfecting this car, his dream car since he was 16... a 1974 De Tomaso Pantera (Ford of Italy). The car's total, but amazingly my husband survived, but requires a lot of care.
Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry to hear about everything. The car, but mostly your husband. My ex restored cars and I know how much time, energy and money is involved restoring. I'm so glad he survived. I hope he recovers soon! Sending you warm wishes too. It's not easy for you either.

@meetthebubus we just finished binging on The Office for probably the 10th time lol (it never gets old!) Right now I'm watching old episodes of Roseanne...and I am a HUGE Friends fan...that was going to be my next binge! My husband likes to make fun of me for rewatching the same shows but hey, I know what I like. Haha

I forgot about Roseanne! I saw they were starting the from the beginning and I set it up to tape. I never saw the last few seasons when it originally aired. I have 134 episodes waiting on me right now!

Wonder if these peeps would be interested in adopting some of those Arizona Rattlers???

They look so healthy! Love the little poof of down on top of their heads...the second picture especially. Looks like he's ready to go to a punk rock concert. I wonder how many mama hen is hiding from you!
Later on in the day there was 7. It was hot enough that they were all out from under mom staying cool. That's actually what she started with...
