I’m back. I have hatched 2 silkies so far and sent their shells in for dna sex testing. Hoping for two girls. Will put more eggs in the incubator Thursday evening. I just love chickens.

Well, hang in here. There may be some folks around your area who may eventually chime in. Surely, you can't be the only one up there with chickens. No, you are way down there!! Yeah, there isn't too many people on the thread from around here that I know of. I feel a little lonley!
Well, I don't know if they are mean or not, but they have to go, being in city limits and an HOA.Sometimes feed stores will take them and try and sell them. If they are good looking birds they will go fast. I wouldn’t keep a mean chicken.

I claimed these AZ folks (whether they like it or not) as my family. They are a warm, welcoming group, tolerating me, and sharing a wealth of knowledge.
Not to get too mushy, but I sometimes say a little prayer over them, thanking them for their knowledge and wisdom provided. They are truly a treasure.
I don't know what I would do without my AZ chicken friends.
