Hey all,
Once again my time spent researching has given me no answers so I turn to the experts here on BYC. This time, however, I'm asking about my bunny. Oliver is the newest addition to our family and I picked him up at Rural King. The most they new was he was at least 10 weeks. (That's all...
My brahma has a hard, ping pong ball sized mass on her abdomen. I foster discovered it 3 days ago and it was featherless. I made a small incision to see if there was hard pus or anything inside but nothing came out. Maybe I didnt go deep enough but she was in pain so I put some wound kote on it...
She was not happy after getting cleaned off, shes been sitting there in this sort of hunched position ever since. Nothing has changed about her at all recently. Her appetite and mood have been the same- shes a big eater and a very loving chicken.

Hey all, just wondering if there’s any more experienced silkie owners than I am that have any idea how to sex the young ones! This little ones about 7 weeks now. If anyone has any thoughts please share!

I realize I said a lot in one post haha but to clarify, it’s her right leg that seems bigger and more problematic. Her left leg is normal size although I think it’s starting to bend inward at the joint to compensate for the other leg.
She had her leg bent out strangely in some of those pictures which she doesn’t always do... not the best pictures. If you would like me to try to get better pictures/different angles let me know
I have a chick that’s about 3 weeks old now. I noticed last weekend she was walking a little funny and looked and noticed her leg was bent a little strange. I took her out and isolated her, thinking it was splayed leg. I tried hobbles (which seemed to make her walk worse) but there didn’t seem...
okay thank you for your help and patience! I think I'll hold off on the wood chips until the grass starts to disappear. But then I'll definitely use them. I'll also post some pictures and can't wait to see your set up
