My hen has suddenly started limping but it has been cold here the past couple of days like 20-40 degrees. I picked her up and moved her leg around and she didn't act like anything was wrong but when I set her down she continued to limp so i don't know maybe arthritis?

If she has a foul odor coming from her mouth she has sour crop. I have not had any experience with it myself but I did stumble upon a thread that might be useful IF it's sour crop. Type "sour crop CURED with Monistat" in the search box above for dosing info. Good luck![/quote

we have hens that have started laying last year and suddenly this past week we went from 9 a day to 2 a day any suggestions? I do live in Michigan and this past week it got down to 50/60 but now it's 80 again and still slow eggs
