Additionally Id like to add that both of these feathers seemed to be dropped after bathing. Is swimming causing them to fall out? Or could this be something like a nutritional issue?
The day before yesterday, my duckling lost a blood feather. He wasn’t bleeding anywhere, and we found other feathers like this one coming from his tail, so he seemed to be good. He was acting normal, and more were coming in
Just now, we found this feather that looks like it came from his wing...
For roughly the last two weeks, my duck has been doing this thing where when he really strongly peeps he’ll sneeze right afterwards. (I’ve included a video link at the bottom.) There’s no indication of anything being wrong so no nose clogging or discharge, lethargy, or anything weird, except for...
Yesterday my duckling lost a blood feather but we couldn’t find the source of where it came from as he wasn’t bleeding anywhere we could spot so he seemed to be good.
However strangely this evening every time he went to flap his wings he’d let out a single shrill call and then stop trying to...
Hi everyone. We had just taken our duck out of his bath and he flapped his wings a bit, and this developing feather fell to the ground.
There was blood at the tip of it, but we can’t find where it came from on his body, since he doesn’t seem to be bleeding from wherever it fell out. There was...

I gave our 15 week old duck vegetables (corn and peas) about 2 days ago and he’s been pooping green ever since. Both the solids and urates go from dark green to mint color depending on the poop. The duck seems to have as much energy as usual and the texture of the poop is normal. Just the color...
Just wanted to let you know that we made some changes to our post so that it made more sense. We’re less worried about the aggression and much more concerned about the skittishness... We’ve been letting him exercise more, but we don’t have any other ducks.
Hey everyone! Our duckling is nearing the 15 week mark and for the past couple of days his behavior has changed. He’s been abnormally skittish when we take him out of his cage making it very difficult for us to put him back in when we’re done cleaning and letting him stretch. It seems to all be...
Alright. He’s made it full circle around the room already, so he’s definitely flying! I’ll study more until I’m ready to clip. If you’ve got any tips or resources, feel free to send them my way! Thanks so much!
Hi everyone! @Miss Lydia @Isaac 0 @Magnolia Ducks @casportpony
CCP is 10 weeks old as of today. He's been doing really well and has gotten really big!
However, we can't move him outside yet, because we're still integrating him in with our flock of chickens. We want him to get big enough so...
Hey everyone! Our sweet boy CCP (just under 7 weeks old!) has been having some time outside with my partner and I. Yesterday was his first foraging trip in the yard. He had peas for the first time, and met our chickens. He seemed to be totally confident, and gave Biscuit a little hiss! 😂
He got...
Update:
Our sweet boy seems to be doing just fine, except he doesn’t seem to be eating as much as he used to. (We made a new thread for that, which is ongoing.) He has been very happy, energetic and cuddly- however sometimes he gets a little skittish when he’s on the floor in the open. We’ve...
We have a six week old wood duckling who never seemed to have a problem eating food dry. Suddenly we’ve noticed that starting this afternoon he’s not eating from his dish at all like he normally does and will only eat feed from in his water dish so it’s fully soft to the point of falling apart...
