ISO HEAVY DUTY wheel kit in Tennessee

After years of using a homemade wheel kit we think we found one better for our current needs. We are looking to LOCALLY buy an Eggcart'n or something similar for our 9x9 coop. Hoping to keep it in a 40 mile radius of Nashville, TN. TIA! https://eggcartnwheelliftkit.com/wheel-lift-kit/

    Changing feed??

We need a new feed. Our Guineas free-range and are housed overnight in a tractor coop. We have been feeding them Dumor Organic 16% protein feed crumbles for two years. Dumor changed their formula and our Guineas are not impressed. They are not eating the feed. We live north of Nashville...

    Diarrhea for months

Went to a chicken vet. Got a fecal. No parasites, no worm. Crop felt fine. The doc is a bit perplexed. Got some probiotic paste ... and super worms because our girl has lost quite a bit of weight. We will go back to the doc on Monday if there hasn't been a profound shift. Dolly is our only...

    Diarrhea for months

Clearly I haven't dealt with worms before. In all the photos on your link, you can see worms in the poop. We do not see any worms in her poop. SO that leads me to believe it's parasitic and not full on worms. EDIT: Just read more on Ivermectin and safe-guard. Both are parasiticides so they...

    Diarrhea for months

Dolly the Splash has had diarrhea for months. She is eating and behaving normal. I've tried a natural dewormer. She free-ranges and has a great diet which includes organic feed, berries, sprouts, corn, whatever she wants. ACV once a week, HydroHen on a different day, Vitamin B Complex on...

It was an injury. The Betadyne wash and colloidal silver healed it in three days! 🧡 🐔 🧡

    Deworming?

I've read other replies. We keep things as natural as possible. We will add garlic to their water and take it from there.

    Deworming?

We live in a similar climate in the countryside outside of Nashville. What do you use for a preventative dewormer?

    Injury or Infection or Illness?

That seems to be the consensus after consulting on a few other forums. We are cleaning it for the Betadine solution and applying colloidal silver topically. Also putting a drop in her mash. She feels fine she lets us treat it no problem. It must be tender though because she will not eat corn on...

    Injury or Infection or Illness?

Hey Y'all, Any idea what this is and how to treat it? First pix is before we cleaned it with a Betadyne solution. Dolly is a two year Americauna Splash. She is the only surviving chicken from her original flock. She is more like a pet, she has a diaper for when she wants to hang out in the...

    Black Diarrhea !

I can post a photo tomorrow. It looks like black water. Nothing is floating in it. She is stressed because she is the only surviving chicken amongst ten Guinea fowl. We had a small flock of eight. We lost our other chickens to hawks before we got the Guineas.

    Black Diarrhea !

I see that your reply was from several years old, but were you able to confirm the ash from a wood pile?? Our solo chicken seems to be in the same situation. What did you do about it?? TIA!

    Raising Guinea Fowl 101

Our Guineas don't seem to behave like other Guineas and I have no idea why. The first two weeks of them laying was very variable. Now for the past several weeks we get five eggs daily. Of course we COULD have more than four females, but based on all their behaviours we have decided we have four.
