Dolly the Splash has had diarrhea for months. She is eating and behaving normal. I've tried a natural dewormer. She free-ranges and has a great diet which includes organic feed, berries, sprouts, corn, whatever she wants. ACV once a week, HydroHen on a different day, Vitamin B Complex on another day, fresh cool water always available.

This started out as black watery diarrhea when she was dusting in a burn pile. We now have yellow diarrhea.
Any suggestions on how to straighten this out?

Thank you, we will do that. Which Ivermectin do you recommend and what is your suggested dose, please?

I agree with Dawg...stop all of those extras..they are not helping nor are they meant for regular use.

Ivermectin isn't good enough.

Use Safe-Guard for goats or the horse paste.

Clearly I haven't dealt with worms before. In all the photos on your link, you can see worms in the poop. We do not see any worms in her poop. SO that leads me to believe it's parasitic and not full on worms.

EDIT: Just read more on Ivermectin and safe-guard. Both are parasiticides so they would kill both.

And we space out the water additives. There is always fresh water in mulitple places. One day they have access to one waterer for HydroHen for 24 hours then it gets dumps. Four or five days ACV for 24 hours and then it gets dump ...

But yes KiKi, how do you administer it and what dose?

Went to a chicken vet. Got a fecal. No parasites, no worm. Crop felt fine. The doc is a bit perplexed. Got some probiotic paste ... and super worms because our girl has lost quite a bit of weight. We will go back to the doc on Monday if there hasn't been a profound shift.

Dolly is our only chicken. We will keep doing the best we can for her.
