    I do sell, but only to a few people so that's not a big issue- I just won't have any available for sale. I do donate dozens each month to a food bank, which is a bigger concern for me. I assume I should just not donate and toss the eggs for a couple months then I would be ok?

    Just an update: have four blue lf cochin hens and one barred lf cochin hen, and silkie babies left. Also the two bantam cochin roos (black and black/mix). Everything else is gone or spoken for :)

    Do you have any neighbors who dislike chickens? We just had a friend who lost 8 chickens in one night, no cause she could find but when she had necropsies done- all had poison in them. I am not sure what kind but whatever it was the cops questioned the neighbors and traced the poison to one...

    ...company didn't renew our policy and didn't notify us so we have no insurance and need to do an equity loan to fix up the place a bit to sell. We can't even sell "as is" w/o insurance.... And it takes 30 days for the policy to take effect *bangs head on brick wall so I am totally nuts right now!!

    I also have a quail hutch and 11 quail ( 4 to 8 weeks old) for sale. :) the hutch is heavy and still needs a set of doors put on the front so the protective wood outer doors can be open during the day. It is sturdy and has small nesting boxes built in, with double layered wire on all openings...

    Yep it's panic time in my house! :) Trying to work out the logistics of a 1000 mile move while showing a house without boxes stacked in every corner.... LOL I have a busy time ahead with two boys in school and the hubby still working up till time to move!

    Just got back to FL today... 75 degrees here after a nice frost on the rental car up there! LOL It is now official.. I am moving to Ohio :) Looking for a place in the Vandalia area, will be moving in December! Excited and terrified both lol

    Heading to OH tonight :) in Charlotte airport with flight delays due to another plane blowing a cart or tug into the wing of our plane ROFL Can't wait to see OH! (And yes I did pack warm stuff... As warm as my FL wardrobe gets anyways!) :)
