I wonder if the frostbite was mild enough to jyst restrict blood flow but the comb didnt die completly? He wattles a a good red folor. Her fafe skin is a good folir. 95% of the time its purple. Hope it gets better as it warms. Suppose to be in the 70s now. Ty!!
Ive never housed them together but i had a rabbit dig thru cement to get out of her run. Her run was dirt and grass, but the adjoining shed had a brand new fement floor. She got thru it. She always xame back at night.
Im wondering if they are egg bound or have broken eggs inside of them. If they were forming an egg and from the dog pouncing on them, if it cracked inside yher insides would have gotten cut and the yellow could be yolk. I would try an antibiotic from tsc. She pri has one mean infection going on...
I dont know if chickens can metabolize ibuprofen well. I would keep it as clean as possible until its scabbed over really really good. Hopefully the others dont pick at it, wait to put her back out there as long as you can. I use vetricyn and it works good to clean wounds. Hope she is ok...

Probably molting?? Some poor chicken can become quite bald with molting? Are they falling out or being pulled out? If they are getting picked on by the others they may have broken off feathers or scabs from feathers being pulled out. I think there is a thread somewhere with some pretty bald...
