Our first frost is listed as October 15, but usually closer to Halloween. They say 4-6 weeks before frost, but I've always done it around the 1st and its worked out alright.

When I had a lot of lumber delivered from home depot it came on a semi. Twice. Second time I made them drop the load at the top of my driveway and use a skid to bring it down cuz their driver was horrible the first time. Took out a huge cedar tree trying to back up, sheesh!
