It took me a while to catch up on this thread. Our weather has been nice, low to mid 70’s during the day and 50’s at night. Although very dry. I’m still getting green beans every other day. The bok choy I planted in the big garden is doing well. The lettuce is growing slowly. My summer squash are blooming and I have a yellow crook neck developing. I think I need to put some fertilizer down. I have 6 SM tomatoes approaching ripening size and 2 more babies growing. My tomato harvest has been quite sad this season. The peach harvest is over. Unfortunately I lost a lot to bruising but I’m happy with what I could salvage. I put up 15 1/2 pint jars of peach jam, 7 1/2 pints of slices and 1 1/2 pounds of frozen slices. So not too bad. I picked my gala apples. I have some that may be bug free, fingers crossed. The others I can turn into applesauce from what I can salvage. This harvest was a surprise and I couldn’t spray them. Next year should be better. I feel like I’m finally about over this sinus infection or whatever it was. Most of the fruit and pickles people can is simple water bath canning @Eagle343. Easy way to get into it. I know Ball used to have a website with good information. You don’t need a pressure. I have a Ball canning book with easy to understand directions.
