It's my goal for 2 years from now to have a cabinet..homemade or bought, not picky as long as it works.. but yes, I'm with you..I don't trust myself to build it and I'm lucky enough to work from home 99.9% of the time and I can be here to babysit mine..like that does a lot of good when someone...
Aw, sorry Bout your twins :( I was pulling for them :hugs
Sometimes it's just not meant to be..I did an eggtopsy on a Tolbunt Polish that I thought I killed during lockdown..it looked fine when I moved them to the hatcher, pipped just fine and then died...I had taken a couple chicks out while...
Lol..my chicks are YouTube junkies before they hatch..I play them other chicks and a hen talking to her chicks from about lockdown on..
I have been looking for eggs from GL for months..I found some great eggs from a project pen that has Tolbunts and GL and project blues all together but finding...
Lol..guess I better sell some chicks huh? I just wouldn't be able to justify the price..especially since I like to set lots of eggs..I really need to sit down and plan out a good cabinet and then use these 2 LGs as hatchers.. but I have to say..I'm proud of my El cheapos.. I'm in WV and had 30...
I plan to candle everything other than those just set, but do you know how long it would take them to die if the temp drop killed them? I didn't know if they would die while the temp was low or if it would just affect them and then take a couple days to die? I can see in the polish very well so...

All of my eggs have been shipped, but seem to develop pretty good when their cells aren't awful.. how many other hens/roos are with her? How old is she?
Oh yes, no plans on opening for at least 24 hours to get everyone stable again..I do have some older eggs in there.. about day 15, and as much as I don't want to loose any, those are just out of my layers...however the Tolbunts are on Day 8, those of course are the ones I'm ready to cry over...
Anyone ever dealt with an unplugged incubator ? One of mine was unplugged sometime aftet 3am last night..I didn't realize til 30 minutes ago..the temp was 84.3°.. my question is, how soon will they die if they're going to?
I want to get them back up to temp and there for a while first, and I'll...
I wish I knew..I didn't open it at 6 this morning when I turned the others..so anytime after 3am when I ladt turned..
