    I bought some eggs on the mainland from a special national breed. It was his 1st time selling to the islands. the postal people also made some mistakes. So instead of coming by plane it came by ship. Normally its still a good way and decent time. Problem was package stayed in port for 6 days...

    Day 19 here. Latest would be day 23 i think. Just in incubators.

    How are your eggs arriving? Plane or Truck? I found out yesterday mine are coming by ship, and to make matters worst its going to take another 4-5 days. The eggs will be over 10 days old. Not looking good for me. But at least i dont have cold temps here. How are your eggs doing?

    I put some feed and water yesterday. Today i gave him some bread crumps and he ate them all. He didnt fight with any other because hes the only rooster in the coop. Maybe vitamin defiencency or just naturla illnes. Thank you

    Broody chicken in an impossible place

    Well good news. Some chicks have hatched. He has 5 already. One is a naked neck. He has a few of those. And hopefully tomorow there are more. The 5 he took them out and put them in a cardboardbox. Here they are.
