    question... could it be something you can't catch from another chicken?? If so, could that be a hint as to what it is?? She has been inside (alone) since the attack... before that, was with my others, but nobody else has this.

    While I was cleaning her eyes, I noticed the edge was red. Mean anything? Her eye wasn't stuck closed this morning like it was yesterday, hopefully that is progress??

    oh and her poop still looks fine, if that helps at all. No sneezing, but she does look a little sleepy at times.

    ok to recap, my hen got attacked by the rest of my flock, she got pretty bloodied but is healing well. While healing, her eyes started to get wet. Today they are worse. Her left eye was stuck shut and her right eye was pretty foamy. I cleaned it off but I'm thinking I probably need to treat...

    I can make a saline mixture for the eyes by boiling water and adding some baking soda. Would that be ok? (of course you cool it before using) I'll look it up to be sure but I'm thinking it's 1 tsp of baking soda to 2c of water. I thought maybe she looked sleepy at times, but I could be...

    What is the best for protein? Also, should I give her starter food? That is higher in protein I believe. I believe the bag I have is medicated, but she isn't laying now anyway. I think she's been too stressed out from my flock

    Although my house is much warmer than outside, it's not hot in here- I am cold! Just checked the thermom and it's about 63 in here, brrrr.
