It is cold and verrry windy here - I feel so sorry for all of my silly chickens - they still wander all around no matter what the weather.
I think if we get used to the cold we'd be ok, but it's 52 one day and 18 the next. ugh...
would you be willing to sell some jaerhorn and hedemora eggs? I have some fbcm but they are not currently laying... and a few blue coppers. I have one lonely Swedish flower hen but no roo - I'm going to do some building next spring!
I'd love some hatching eggs or poults, or maybe even a pair in the spring. I'm about 1 hour 17 minutes from you (Picture Rocks PA) and Bloomsburg looks like about half-way. Please keep me in mind!

I'd be happy to help out if you have a few extras. I'm in Pennsylvania, and I "accidentally" won some eggs, which will be here in a few days so I have a nice incubator read for six whole eggs!
I'm planning on it as soon as they start laying - I have the blue bresse mix from greenfire, so I have splash, black and blue. The blues are really gorgeous! They are almost 4 months old, so as soon as they start laying and I can confirm fertility, I'll be posting here.
I received them from greenfire farms May 13, so about 5 weeks old or so. I won blue bresse, but they mistakenly sent white bresse, then sent the correct order after that. I think I made out quite well and they were great to work with!! I have 5 roos from my personal hatch, and those eggs came...
