    Yeah they sure are .. You should see him with my sablepoots - He cant leave them alone. I think its the camera and the chickens that make the good shots, I just point and click many times (it takes a lot of shots to get a good one as you probably know )

    If you really want a broody hen . your more than likely not going to have one, Trust me!! My brother has OEG and they seem to be fantastic broodys and mothers .. I on the other hand have orpingtons, wyandotte and bantam sablepoots and cant get them to sit longer than an hour

    I get 50 kilos of food which usually last me around 2-3 months of "normal" twice a day feeding, I used to have food out all the time but chickens are VERY greedy and will eat for the sake of eating, Twice a day and roaming around eating what they like is plenty imo
