The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Don't forget armed guards, retinal and fingerprint scanners and DNA reference samples. Sounds like they already have pretty good plan of attack.

Pssssst..... Hey Jeremy for a couple of blue pullets I'll sell ya a map of the facility and software to trick the scanners.

Joy, you're killing me with the ADORABLE baby pictures! We still need to chat about my wee ones.

Neville has decided that sparring with my other rooster Claude through the fence is MUCH more fun than putting any thought to breeding his girls... I guess it will be awhile longer before I start hatching any eggs of my own... boys will be boys.

I'm going to have to put some sort of cover along the bottom of the fence to keep them from quarreling.

fifelakelooper, I think that bedding is corn cob bedding. I use it too, it's great stuff. There's literally almost no dust at all so it's great for brooding chicks indoors. I used to have to wipe the dust from the pine shavings off everything once a day (or once an hour...) with the corn cob you hardly have to dust at all, other than what you normally do.

Joy the chicks are really nice. Love the blacks of course

I think what Joy has in her brooders are the Equine Pine pellets you get at TSC. That is what I use and it looks just like it. Much less dusty and absorbs the smells really well. easy clean up.
