Hi everyone. I have two hens and recently I noticed one had a blackish comb. At first, I thought it was just dirty, but then I noticed it didn't go away. Please help if you can. Thank you.
I thought that but my brother doesnt think so. My coop (guess=3-4X2-3 ft) has blood on the roof, floor and bars are full of feathers. The 2 quail are the same size and the other one isnt hurt except for a dried blood stain.
In the morning, I went to check on my quail and found my quail girl badly injured. I took it in and my mom sprayed on antibiotic. The quail seems to be blind as a result of the attack (attacker unknown) and when she breathes, it seems like she has a snotty nose. She travels from corner to...

Hello guys. I have two quail, and one of them has a big red bubble in front of his eye. She also makes a sneezing noise sometimes. Please help! Will take picture if needed.
I named my two australorp chicks penguin and dolphin, because they are cute and are black on the top and white on the bottom. They rhyme in Russian, too. The one hiding is penguin and the one that's not hiding is dolphin.
They just have to be in a different brooder, but they can be in the same room. If you isolate them, you might also consider having them isolated through something see through, so the other chicks got used to them just being there.
They should be under light until you are gonna let them live outside. Start at 90 degrees for under one week and every week just lower the temperature by 5 until you reach the 5th week when you can transfer them outside._
I owned some orpingtons, and even though they never grew to lay an egg, I thought they might be boys with the comb they had, but yours are probably girls.
I have two chicks, 6 days old, and from 4 days when I got them, they got in the bowl and scratched it before eating. They have those traits in them, like Bantamlover21 said.
