I don't know how much shipping is for live birds but I'd be willing to pay shipping to get him here if it's somewhere in the $35 range. Has anyone on here shipped adult birds before that can give me a rough price range? Of course, assuming you would be willing to ship in the first place.

Unfortunately we had a power surge that cooked all of my eggs in the incubator. I plan to get some chicks soon though. These are incredibly difficult to find in the States.
How separate do they need to be? I'd imagine different pens with chicken wire between them would not be enough? Would a pen 20/ 50 feet away be ok? How do the diseases spread?
That sounds good. My flock is primarily wyandottes and they tend to shy away from everything. Under ideal circumstances fencing would keep everything out but I think we have all experienced something to prove nothing is 100% ideal. I worry about a coon being crafty enough to get past the...
