Looking to rehome my two girls. I unfortunately am becoming busy at work and at home and don’t have the time I used to for them. Would much rather find someone to take them in rather then go the other option...... no rehoming fee.
I can’t remember what breed they both are. Located north of...
How far north are you!?!? This is exciting! Goose looks brand new also she hasn't started laying again yet but I've only had around 3 eggs from her. Her old mate wouldn't stop laying!!! But she's got these weird shaped eggs with spirals on it with a hint of blueish green!
Hi everyone! I am happy to inform you all that Goose was indeed molting! Her feathers are back in full and she's gotten even darker than before! Thank you all for your opinion and help!!!!!
I can't remember what her new mate is called. She's getting blue on her wings and her head is suppose to turn greenish... Starts with a C lol the yellow one who's molting is named Goose and the new baby is named Gander :)
I'm feeding them a high end egg laying kibble. More expensive then the others I saw. Never knew they could have dog and cat food but she used to eat it when she'd come in and help herself to the food! I'll do that thank you! The new baby and her are getting along fantastically! I got an older...
I believe she is a Saxony duck. I found her on Craigslist. The guy I got her from said she was "something blue" he couldn't remember but we all know "blue" in animal terms is black lol did a little googling and that's what I found out. :) she always has something to say and laughs all the time...
She's a year and a maybe a few months or so. She's not wet in the photo. Thank you I was hoping she was just molting. She hasn't lost feathers like this before!
You think it's a result of a broken heart? I hope not :( I got the little one as fast as I could for her! We even went on a road trip to the feed store for a new pool and treats! I never left her alone after her mate died! I tried to keep her busy:(
