WANTED Mille Fleur D' ulcces Lemon preferably or other colors

If the above post doesn't help you out, perhaps I can. I have several MF D'Ucclle chicks four to five weeks old. I have my own flock and breed my own stock. There are some older pics of my birds somewhere on here. Perhaps on my info page. It's been forever since I've visited before yesterday...

3-4 week olds, 3 different breeds (wyandotte, new hampshire, plymouth)

...of color and pattern. The NH because of the slow feather growth and rapid comb growth. The SLW just a guess. I usually have a pretty good eye for feather patterns, etc. What a gift, eh? *edited to say that I posted this before I'd read Illia's post. I really didn't copy their response.

Quote: I'd agree with this. My guess on the wyandotte would be hen.

Anyone care to make an educated guess...

I'd agree. Nothing jumps out saying ROO. The one on the left in the last two pics could be, but I'll still say hens...if it were a roo i think the waddles would show more.

Mille Fluer D'Uccle Eggs-2 Dozen+ USPS Priority Shipping Included.

These beautiful little banties are mild mannered and friendly. They can be cooped with no problems as they require little space or they can be free ranged. They are very good foragers and consume very little food. They are great layers of small cream colored eggs. It's not unusual to get...

I'm going to say hen. Saddle feathers are still round, comb and waddles are still small. I dont know that I'd bet money, but I'd venture that guess. Keep us posted.

    D'uccle ?

NO WAY it's a straight comb. Good looking bird either way.

    D'uccle ?

Comb's wrong for a D'Uccle. They have straight combs. Not sure what it could be from the angle of the pic...The vulture hocks and leg feathers and stance looks like a D'Uccle. Comb is all wrong. Color and comb, to me, say it's a mix.

Breed and Gender Question - picture heavy

I'm saying all hens. Perhaps New Hampsiresand/or Production Reds. Excellent pics...what kind of camera did you use?

    Blue/black JG, cockerel or pullet?

Looks like a pullet to me. Definately not a Straight comb, though. Did the chick hatch from your stock or purchased eggs?
