Main goal is a very hardy free range gamefowl.
Usually I let them out to free range in the morning, & they'd be out until 5pm. Right now they can't be let out to free range currently, not until after we move to our new house though.
Never heard of them actually.
The Malay stag with Scoliosis had officially been culled from the flock today. He'll be tasty though. He got spoiled until the end.
He had the mutation for no preening gland, so at least I didn't have to remove one.
Question for anyone who's done it. Has anyone shipped chickens, or eggs out of Maine to a different state without NPIP? Just curious if there's a loophole like Michigan does.
I have a friend who wants a couple juvenile chickens from me next year.
Sapphire Gems are a sexlink chicken, males have barring, females are solid blue.
Plus males would have a headspot, which would be noticeable on hatchlings.
Blue doesn't breed true, & doesn't always dilute every part of the black chicken. Splash, which is a double dose of blue results in black in the feathers as well, from time to time.
Inspection Not Required. Hard to take a screenshot without my volume bar getting in the way of things.
I'm only talking about this area of the statutes.
How does one get registered?
