Well looks like my American game hicks will have to be seperated at 8.5 weeks. They just won't stop, even my barred rocks that I have in with them have stared fighting, which is normal for the pecking order, except that the game chicks will not leave them alone, so alone time it is.
I know several other people have American game on here, now what is the youngest you have had them start fighting? Mine are a bit over 8 weeks and they will not separate, at first I thought it was the pecking order but after 7 minutes neither one of them backed off, I separated them for a day...

Man have my ameraucanas changed a lot! There not very friendly but I guess that's my fault. I haven't spent as much time with them as I did with my other chicks.
She meant comb, she is talking about dubbing I believe, usually done in colder weather to reduce the chance of frostbite. Originally dubbing was done on the "working" game chickens so they were not obstructed during the event.
ETA: it is also a requirement for some show breeds, old English...
