no, they are still in the bator. 3 of the eggs cracked Sunday, but nothing else. We did have one on Saturday punch a hole in the egg and we could see it and hear it peepping, but a few hours later it was dead.
we kept the temp at 99 but there were a few times it got above 100 and as far as the humidity we don't know. Did not have a gauge to check that.
We had mixed breeds: 4 banty, 12 mixed standard chickens and 12 Jersey Giants. 1 banty, 3 mixed and 1 Jersey made it. All the eggs were local.
we have a banty hen that just startted laying a week and a half ago. We took her eggs and put them in a bator. She was laying an egg everyother day until she startted sitting on the hen's eggs this weekend. Will she start laying again and/or can I put the eggs from the bator back in the nest?
I have a couple of ?'s.
1) How long can the eggs sit in the nest before its to late to put them in the bator?
2) Can we put eggs in the bator as we get them?
3) whats the rule on how often we can open the bator?

One of my roo's is a black and white banty. As far as if it is a mottled cochin, I don't know. When I get home tonight I will post a pick of both the roo's I would like to find a home for.
Hi everyone. My chick's are going on 9 weeks old and I'm pretty sure 3 of my bantam's are roosters.
I need to find a home for two of the Roo's and replace them with pullets.
Does anyone have a need for 2 bantam Roo's??????
I posted this in the raisen chick's forum, but wanted some Okie's to chime in. Thanks for any in put.
