First thought would be the bloom is getting disturbed and causing the eggs to go bad. Experiment by collecting fresh eggs and putting them in the fridge abd using them as normal. Very very few thibgs cause an egg to turn black on the inside.
How often do you ser thr "bloody droppings"? Blood should not be occuring, however birds do shed intestinal lining fairly often and thesr poos can appear "bloody" but are perfectly normal.
How are you handling and storing them? If the bloom js still intact nothing should be able to get inside the egg. Of course it could be already inside the egg , in which case i have no idea. Refrigerating right from the start may help
I would worm her with wazine or valbazen. If you use wazine, follwup with a treatment of safeguard or ivermectin after 10 days. They can die from worm treatment if u overload ther body with dieing worms. Wazine kills only round worms which is why to use it first. Valbazen kills everything but...
NO, switching to medicated feed will not help as the situation currents is. Immediately dose with Corid. Medicated feed is more of a preventative than a treatment. I would treat the entire flock with Corid using the severe outbreak dosage. Immediate treatment is crucial to survival. If corid is...
I use the brighttap on 2 gallon insulated cooler, works like a charm. I am using it for 5 hens and full it lasts close to a week, though i check it every day.

Make sure u do the switch ag a time u can watch then for a while. They will be fine without water for a few hours, but u do want them to figure it out. So make it the only water source and then every 10 minutes or so draw ther attention to it until they figure it out.
Have you taken away all other water sources? I just tapped a nipple with ny finger to get their attention a few times, they had it figured out in about 20 minutes. Key thing is it needs to be only water source
It depends. Thick sturdy alluminum is still heavy. Will it have wheels? Skids? If you have a lawn tractor/ riding lawnmower i would just build it on skids and have a sturdy reinforced area in both thr front and back to pull it from.
I had an excellent experience with their customer service . One of the friendliest and most helpful i have ever experienced anywhere. They were also very prompt responding to email.
Howdy folks! I just wanted to post an update on my birds.
Sadly, we lost one of ours to a hawk a few days ago. So now we have 5 black australorps which will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. I moved them to their mobile coop/tractor a few days ago and they are doing great.
Temps are ranging widely...
