During one of my father's many hospitalizations, the check-in nurse asked him if he was diabetic. Without skipping a beat, he replied, "No, I'm Italian." Stopped her mid sentence so she could puzzle it out!
I absolutely LOVE this. My Billy wouldn't lay on the couch (he was too big to get around the corner or I'm sure he would have tried!) but he came down the front hall regularly, straight into the kitchen to counter-surf! He's the reason we had a storm door on the front entrance.
Gorgeous! I absolutely LOVE the blue pigeon. I don't know why, but it just draws me. And I have a beautiful hoya (joya?) too. The little flowers look and feel like fakes. Mine smells wonderful when it blooms - subtle and sweet. It's so cool!
"... that I did NOT just give in to the weird impulse to drip melted peanut butter into my coffee, that I did NOT like it and so I will NOT do it again ... maybe with a little bit of chocolate or cocoa?"
No, Silly, but you're at least partway right. It's where you balance your chair on the banister and ride down the length of the staircase!
(Sorry ... couldn't resist!)
But, chair rails are beautiful and add structure to a room ... but they're a royal pain to keep dusted, especially when...
I never made it through Chem 1, either. I barely made it through Physics - I was so awful at it that no one would have me as a partner. I ended up working directly with the teacher, who later revealed that the only reason he passed me at all is because he knew how hard I tried. Thank You...
At just six weeks, feathers aren't reliable - especially on a mix ... and super-especially on a Silkie mix. I'm leaning towards Lucky being a pullet, but time will tell.
