They’re beautiful 🥰 thanks for sharing. In my experience whenever I mix breeds they come out various shades of browns. These 4 lovely little ladies I hatched this year are 3/4 fawnwhite runner, and 1/4 cayuga.
It’s not an internet recipe it’s from a book called the Biblio Diet by Jordan Ruben and Dr Josh Axe. I haven’t drank any yet, but there is a chapter in the book about 12 different kinds of fruit tree leaves. You can put altogether to make a healing tea. Fig is one of them.
I think once she’s settled in her quiet place she will try it. If you don’t have a crate, you can even use a box or a laundry basket with a towel over the top. And clip it on with clothespins or something. And I would use puppy pee pads and/or a towel underneath her as well.
After she is settled in her warm, dark quiet place with her electrolyte water dish in front of her, we can think about starting her on an antibiotic for the puncture wound. Do you have any on hand?
Good you stopped the bleeding and sprayed with wound spray, now treat for shock.
Put her in a crate in a warm dark quiet place . Give electrolyte water. You can use plain Pedialyte. They sell it at Walmart or you can use a poultry formula. If you have it there are powdered electrolyte formulas...
Ducks Just absolutely love water any way they can get it ! Splash!
Do you remember that old song :
do your ears hang low? Do they wobble to and fro? Can you tie them in a knot? Can you tie them in a bow? Can you throw them over your shoulder like a continental soldier? do your ears hang low...
