It's supposed to warm up in the next few days. If some of the crops survived the extreme cold I might get more growth and be able to get a little harvest.

Yep. It's brief, and infrequent, so most pipes are not insulated. We let our faucets drip, and leave the vanity/cupboard doors open to allow the warmth of the room to moderate the cold air under the sink.

That's headed our way, in Eastern NC. It won't be as frigid as you're experiencing, but borderline record cold for us, at 15°.
There will be a lot of perennials lost in ENC gardens.
I have to look for them, they're not always carried by Lowe's (home improvement), and never by Wally World. I found some last year, bought at least six, whatever they had in stock.

Feeders have been slow until earlier this week. I've seen Brown Thrashers and Pine warblers eating the peanut butter suet. Everything is now filled up, ready for an unseasonable cold forecast for Sunday evening.
