    I put the splint on hours after it hatched. The chick gets around pretty good for its handicap. I guess it will be a super spoiled baby.. nothing wrong with that

    Shots for coccidiosis, merrick the main shots that are given when you purchase them from Strombergs or Mcmurray. When my hens hatch their own, I have not had any of them get sick. Just wondering if this really has to be done.

    Also I read they need a few shots is this necessary as the chicks my hens raised has had no issues.
