Ok my heart of hearts thinks she’s laying the cream. I can’t have more chickens in my small area and my hopes of having one of each color just burst into flames lol but I love them and they will live a long happy life here.
Yes from a young girl in my town. She said she came from a blue egg and that she was 6 weeks old when I purchased her. She was born middle of March but she was very very slow to mature which I read is a trait from the cream legbar. I have never gotten 3 light brown eggs so I just assumed she...
Thank you so there’s hope lol !! 🥰that was very informative I appreciate it! I looked at her ear lobes and they are small. Not all white just a little, not sure that matters
This picture is a few months ago. I need an updated one. Her comb is much brighter now. And she’s 9 months by my calculations. She was very slow to mature. I was told she came from a blue egg.
Any guesses on what color egg she should lay? This a an older picture, she’s a fast one. She’s 9 months old now but I don’t think she’s laying yet and if she has it’s a pale light brown/cream color. I was told she’s a cream leg bar/ee mix and “should” lay a green or blue egg. She hatched from a...
Thank you for that! I will do the soak and the probiotics. She is eating today. She is moving around better but still limping on the foot that the bumble had almost healed from. There is the swelling between her toes but its soft and no kernel or anything.. Should I be doing something for that...
I have a approx. 1.5-2 year old Starlight Green Egger Tulip. She has bumble foot and we treated with removing the scabs and using PRID. That has been working well... Then she started with some swelling between the toes and a limp (on the less affected foot) The swelling is soft and localized to...
I have a 1.5 year old who lays a light greenish to blue egg. Her shells are always thin despite giving eggs shells back, oyster shell, extra calcium tablets with magnesium. The works. We’ve tried it all. We get 2-3 eggs per week with consistent thin shells and the color of her egg is much...
There’s no hidden nest. It’s a small area and I can check all areas well. She goes in the box every morning for a little bit but no egg. She’s pooping so she’s not egg bound and I don’t feel an egg. :/
Thank you all! Still no egg here but she’s acting fine. I will continue the calcium pills and hope for the best! I do have dish amoxicillin I could give to combat any reproductive infection that maybe I am missing. I’m at a loss here :( if she never lays again that’s fine but I do think...
Yes I learned that in a scary bad way! Never again. I did it kind of abrupt when I realized Tulip only getting chick starter so I panicked and thought I have to switch to grower for them all too eat and have always had oyster shell on the side for her . Tulip was added to the younger ones from...
