They look like pullets to me. But I'm no expert. My two are giving me a hard time! They are 14 weeks and I still cannot be certain. No tell tail signs of Roos except very red comb on one.
Yes, it does look much older than mine! This one I posted is now at 11 weeks. still no saddle feathers. AND no copper ring around the neck. could it be that I was played as well?? the Lady I got it from is supposedly very reputable, I'm slightly frustrated. HOWEVER: everyone still vote ROO?
Hard to tell...I had a chick that was taller, tail feathers grew in late and acted completely different than my little pullet, and turned out to be a female. lol BUT, anything is possible.
My Roo that I helped hatch and have become close to sadly has to be rehomed. He fights with my alpha roo and I have to keep them separated which is causing too much chaos. He is pretty docile, does like to run up and pinch my legs sometimes but a soft but direct "I'm the boss" push puts him back...
