There was pus, but she is still blind in the eye. I wouldnt say that it looks better. I looks quite odd (its clear and sort of swollen on her eyelid, making it harder to open, although she has been opening her eye more).
:( Oh. Well we will be going on a 3 day trip, starting tommorrow. My original plan was just to give her water and food and not apply neosporin for two days. We removed some pus yesterday, her eye looks weird. Could we start antibiotics and then discontinue it for 2 days? I thought antibiotics...
I believe its time for an update. I have been cleaning her 1-2 times a day. She is eating and drinking. Good thing she has her right eye! Her left eye is blind now, but no more symptoms of a respiratory issue, which is good. The swelling has gone down as well. I stopped flushing her eye a few...
Clean ears and nothing abnormal about her mouth. I will check in the morning for crop issues again. The eye and part of her face is puffed up and swollen. Her eye wouldnt open anymore...:(
crop had a bit of food in it. Its doughy. I made some new saline and flushed her eye. It has clouded over and looks like she may be blind :( The swelling has gotten worse as well. I will repeat this for a few days. I will wet her feed when feeding
