I just a went down to lock up the coops and the babies were huddled down in the corner quiet as mice :D No more MHP babies!!

Chicks made a move this weekend :D We wracked our brains for 2 weeks to try and figure out a way to make a run for them attached to the main coop, but couldn't figure out how to do it and be able to keep the bigs and littles separate, so because of our main coop set up it just wasn't going to...

...hands and I need constant reminding of that. Yes we do what we need to in order to keep them safe/healthy but ultimately they're His creation. Re: buying medicine, totally get it too ;) But IF it's something that the medicine helps the rest of your chicks with then it will be worth it...

...One got several "pecks" worth before we got them rounded back up. They were eating it off the floor (it's mounted too high for them to eat it directly from the feeder thing) because my bigs are PIGLETS and flick it everywhere *eye roll* These things are constantly trying to kill...

@bruceha2000 Thank you for the help! I should take pics of our set up so y'all know what I'm working with, I'm trying to figure out how to make a separate run for the littles, more so how to keep them separate from the bigs since theyre all in the coop together...hard to explain the set up so...

Oh and also-my hubby told me the portal is actually 4x6 so j must have read about your experience earlier in the thread and just forgot LOL! @aart

That sounds like a good plan! I had a dream last night that we let the littles out and all 19 of them SCATTERED all over that one acre pasture and there was a hawk waiting :O It was a disaster and I woke up with my heart pounding! I wonder if I need to rig up a pen that limits how far they can...

Thank you! That's a good idea to shut the bigs out and let the littles get the lay of the land first, so just do that and make sure they get it and then let the bigs in?

...fencing, so do I just let them out into the coop for now and wait to actually let them outside? And the how many times do I do the supervised visits before I can just leave their portal open? **DANG I'm nervous about letting them out! Lol!** So any advice you have is greatly appreciated :)

Also I have a sick hen, thinking she might be egg bound, if you want to weigh in its over on the illness forum :(
