Shadrach's Ex Battery and Rescued chickens thread.

I think that's Major. Cillin is a rose combed boy, if I remember correctly

Serama hatch part 3 (and a few odds and ends!)

I'm so sorry Elfen. I'm sure Dolly is quite distressed as well. Do you have any other chicks you can give her, or will she have to break?

Sure, sure. We won't blame you if you decide to plant him outside after the first month :p

    LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

You know what, with all that bullying this plant has endured before even getting to your home, it might actually play nice out of spite, and make us all look like fools!

TwoCrows decided to BUY one (to be fair, it was part of a pack)! As in, spent money to welcome this pure evil into her home!

I get that. Don't worry though, if you break some roots on the opuntia, it'll make you remember not to do it again! Or I guess, you should worry!

I find it very relaxing. I can be done with a repot pretty quickly, so it keeps it fun. Don't worry about root damage too much :hugs . Astrophytum peeps actually CUT most of them during repotting

    Found budgie in the wild

It looks blue-ish to me. Not pink, not blue. A faded blue is more like it, which is what I'd expect from a young female

Just remember. When in doubt, don't do anything. These guys can go for a WHILE with no water. They prefer it that way!

    Found budgie in the wild

I'd agree with your guess, but because we can't see the barring on the head (whatever her mutation is) I'll play it safe

    Found budgie in the wild

She's young. Less than 8 months is my guess. Around the 8 month mark is when the iris starts to develop

    Found budgie in the wild

Looks like a young lutino budgie to me. Gender, I'm not too sure, but leaning female. I'll leave the care stuff to the hard-core budgie people @Somewhere_In_The_Clouds
