I've never has EEs but I do like how the True Blues lay regularly. We have lots of different colors, my favorite is black with gold\red streaks down her back.
My Whiting True Blues started laying this week. 19 weeks old. Actually one of them started laying. I'm pretty happy about it, some of my 19 week old Red Stars are laying and one of my 17 week old White Leghorns is laying as well.
I had the same issue on both of my previous orders they said shipped but never updated the tracking info until they were picked up by me at the post office. I have another order of Whitings coming this week but no shipping notification yet.
I think Isa Brown is the same as Red Stars I think. Those are Red Stars from McMurray.
The coop is 10x16 in the coop area with a 10x4 storage room. Here's our coop page describing more detail.

I can relate. The first night I had them in the coop I did not sleep at all!! I just knew they would all be dead when I went out in the morning. LOL they did fine though. It got down to 17 a few nights later but I didn't know it until morning. I did have a heat lamp in there for them but...
Great info. I wish I had ordered more of the Whitings, but at the time I din't think we would have so much room for chickens.
Please forgive me for asking what does SBEL stand for?
I'm assuming the grey one is. I'm trying to figure out if he's Blue Andalusian or Whiting True Blue. I'm kinda thinking he's going to be aggressive. Beautiful or not if he's mean when he gets older we are eating him.
I'm way behind on my picture taking. We totally skipped the ugly teenager stage and now they look like pretty chickens again. They are living in the coop now and it's hard to get good pictures.
These two girls have puffy cheeks and the one in the back is much larger than all the rest. I...

My SIL has an order coming in April and she threw me in a Whiting male too. I was very temped to order 25 of them just to get a big sampling of the different color variations. Does your blue chick look like mine? Mine is pretty yellow on the belly.
Yep, I have been reading through that thread. Thanks. The MM photo is seriously lacking. Hopefully they use a better photo next year. Maybe I'll send them one with a polite suggestion that theirs sucks. lol
