thats what happened here too, the broodies wanted nothing to do with the little cochin bantams- so we have them in the living room.... poor little guys- so do you have pics coming???

she is a buff orp and EE mix, very much like her mom spice, lost her to a mystery illness, so didn't have the heart to rehome spicette- but her mom was a BO, and had that Barbabra attitude, and so does her daughter...LOL! not one for petting, but very sure of herself...should have been a BR...

oh my! i can so relate!! if i had a dollar for every time i do a similar thing- both hips replaced tends to make one more apt to the clumsies... i always wonder when the the chickens look in their wise way.... what are they thinking? Maybe we are inviting them to a dustbath???
