Hi, guys. I am needing to sell the majority of my hens due to bullying. Most have feather damage, and few are missing tails. I’m wondering due to this, should I lower the price? Does physical characteristics matter? I’m feeling $18-20 is good. I need them gone ASAP.
No importance to it.. just a fun way to sell my girls eggs. I already purchased the stamp egg safe ink but maybe ill consider just stamping the egg carton instead... not sure still have to dig into further research.
what is your opinion on egg stamping? I saw somewhere online it’s not safe due to the actual stamp caring bacteria. Also, does it have to be egg safe? or is that a preference? feel free to educate me. Thanks in advance.
I got 2 male bantams and a female turken that are approx. 7 months. Wanting to sell just have no idea how much they would go for. Can anyone help me figure out a price.
I have 45-50 leghorns and RIR's in my flock. My RIR's are being bullied by the leghorns. Currently, I'm picking up around 35-40 eggs a day. Feel it's time to sell as few, but not sure how much of them to sell. I'm thinking 10 is ideal. What do y'all think? I would like to have chickens and sell...
Looking into selling a few of my leghorn males and females. is $25 a good price for each? Theyre 10 months and the girls are at their prime with egg laying.
I'm from TX. currently fall here, super hot but weve gotten some rain. Also, as much as i hate to admit i know a percentage of why theyre stained is because of the coop. They've been pooping big lately. is that normal?? I provide shavings in the coop as much as possible
We have an area for the chickens, a large one but dont think its possible enough for us to move the flock elsewhere. i guess i can temporarily section the area and give the chickens alfalfa mean while right? They eat plenty of veggies.
My girls stopped laying eggs for about a month I assumed it was b/c of molt. I did see Feathers everywhere but was expecting it to be a lot worse… almost like them getting bald patches or something. My leghorns are dirty a lil is it okay to bathe them?
This is what I got going on. Any products I can use to fix that grass? It was greener a few weeks ago… been giving alfalfa to make up for the ugly grass. Willing to learn, tips will be accepted and appreciated. Thanks
On here pretty often...feel like im doing everything wrong. How do i fix feather damage on my RIR? Leghorns have been giving me quite a bit of issue with pecking. what am i doing wrong?
Needing advice on growing grass for my girls to graze... drying out as the days go on. use to be filled pretty well. now all the grows is weed
If I throw seeds, will it harm the ladies if they consume?
Ok. That is my concern.. i have several that developed bumblefoot it takes up so much of my time. I've been splitting the work. taking care of the most severe cases and leaving the ones that are barely developing with no swelling. Its frustrating.. feel terrible about it. Am I not cleaning...
I dont want to perform this procedure but a few of my chickens are really swollen and i feel i must remove the problem. it is the black callous and the yellow part, the corn thats remove? I fear going in too deep.
