Ill have to go back on Ebay but pretty sure they are on BYC !! They are hatching as we speak! From Tx to NY 12 eggs 8 went into lockdown- due tomorrow and 1 out already- 1 pipping very excited as these eggs are the darkest I have seen in a long time!
When you got home from your friends did u change your clothes and especially shoes? Whenever I went near any other birds I sprayed my shOEs down with hose ( crocks or barn boots for easy cleaning).
I miss taking part in these. I yanked out my bators last week for the first time in 4-5 years and put in 36 Cream Crested Legbar eggs and 12 BCM eggs. I also have a broody over 9 splash Marans and CCL eggs. Good luck for the July hatch people!
I too am looking for some. I haven’t been on BYC in a long time and decided ... it’s time. Didn’t think for a second they would be difficult to get considering the eggs were cheap last I got them.
Are you consistently opening and picking up egg? you need to keep consistency- mist the egg so he doesnt get glued into the shell and let mother nature takes it course. needs consistent humidity to properly hatch and move around in egg to get itself out. Dont open the bator. I know its hard but...
Thanks guys! Hard to believe I'm going on 7 yrs of BYC!! I cannot tell you how many friends I have met in person from here. I still have some besties Im still in contact with since day 1
Never tried a dorking but have a freezer full of bresse. The bresse taste wonderful when I slow roast
Not nearly as meaty as your typical garbage collector poop machines.
I'm all in for upping the ante!! I know whe I ship a dozen cream crested legbar eggs your talkiing $15 shipping alone unless you live an hour from me!! I LOVE gift cards but $10 is not worth it for me ;(
I can totally swap/ship olive eggers, CCLs, and bresse eggs right now I'm just waiting:) lol...
